Despite the fact that this website addresses the use of Ketamine, Dr. Strayhan does not condone or promote the illegal use of psychedelics. While Ketamine can be legally prescribed, the use of Ketamine can be an off label prescription for the treatment of depression, PTSD, anxiety and end of life anxiety. There is extensive literature regarding the utility and therapeutic efficacy of psychedelics, however none of them are as yet FDA approved for any psychiatric condition or diagnosis.
Dr. Strayhan will not advise prospective or current patients on how to acquire access to psychedelics. Dr. Strayhan will not sit with individuals who bring psychedelics to his office or who access care via telepsych services.
Dr. Strayhan does not endorse underground therapist who provide access to psychedelics and does not make referrals to them.

While the use of medications such as benzodiazepines,sedative hypnotics,opiate pain medications,barbituates and stimulants have a valid role in the treatment of a variety of psychiatric conditions, Dr. Strayhan does not prescribe them. This Earthly House does not offer medication services for the management of clinical conditions involving either acute or chronic pain.
Dr.Strayhan, does not exclude individuals who are being prescribed controlled substances from treatment at This Earthly House. However, Dr. Strayhan will not refill those prescriptions. Patients needing refills of these medications should contact their primary care or specialty care provider.
